What a crypto casino licence check can confirm

A register entry answers a short list of questions. Which company holds the licence. Which number it carries, and whether the authority shows it as active. When it was issued, and in some registers when it runs out. And, most usefully for a reader, which domain or domains it covers.

That last field is the one this site searches by. The Curaçao portal at cert.cga.cw can be searched by domain, and the public register at anjouangaming.com lists licences with the domain attached. A match between the address in your browser bar and the domain on the certificate is the cleanest result a lookup can give.

Every lookup quoted here was made between 26 August and 13 September 2026. Registers change: licences are issued, renewed and withdrawn, and a result from September is a record of September.

Every Visit the casino button opens the same place: the casino this site is paid to feature, and not the operator printed in the row beside it. Fact box goes to that operator’s own entry, where the clauses behind its points are quoted. The points are counted from published terms and register entries; that count is not for sale.

What a register entry leaves out

A licence entry is about who is allowed to run the site. It is silent on nearly everything a player meets after the first deposit. It does not tell you when an identity check begins, which sum triggers it, how much can leave an account in a month, or whether a fee applies.

Nor does it say anything about the pace of withdrawals. No register consulted for this site records a payout time, a promised window or the word «instant». Those questions are answered, as far as they are answered at all, by the operator's terms, which is why the other four criteria are read from the terms and only this one from a register.

So an active entry is a starting point rather than a verdict. A casino with a clean register result can still hold payout clauses you would not accept, and the ranking's first four criteria exist to show that side. The criteria and the weight given to each kind of document are set out in the method.

Where the register lists the casino's own domain

Six ranked operators pass the domain test without a complication in the register itself, although some have one on their own pages.

• Bitcasino.io. Moon Technologies B.V. holds OGL/2023/111/0069, issued 1 July 2024. On 12 September 2026 the certificate carried bitcasino.io. The footer and the licence page print the same number; the AML policy page prints a different one.
• Bitsler. The certificate OGL/2024/930/0387 belongs to Oyine N.V. (issued 22 July 2024); searched on 12 September 2026, it showed bitsler.com. Clause 1.1 of the terms still calls that number an application in progress.
• Thunderpick. The register lists OGL/2024/677/0722 as active, with Napier Ltd as holder (26 August 2026). Look through the terms for an authority or a licence number and you find neither.
• Shuffle.com. Natural Nine B.V. holds OGL/2024/1337/0628, issued 16 October 2024, with an active status at the lookup of 8 September 2026.
• Jack.com. Data Link Digital B.V. holds OGL/2024/1562/1139, issued 23 July 2025, with jack.com as the domain. The brand traded as Jackbit until 29 May 2026, and jackbit.com sits on a certificate of its own.
• Wild Fortune. The Anjouan register lists ALSI-202509073-FI2 for wildfortune.io, holder Metlait SRL, issued 30 September 2025 and running to 29 September 2026. Clause 1.1 and the footer name the Tobique Gaming Commission and licence 0000064 instead.

Where the entry and the site do not line up

Three cases need a second sentence, because the register answers the question and then raises another one.

Wild.io earns the domain point, but the company names differ. On certificate OGL/2024/210/0198, granted 14 April 2025, the holder is Nonce Gaming B.V., while the company in the Wild.io terms is Stack Gaming Ltd. Both names are recorded as found, and this site makes no choice between them.

V., active since 19 May 2025. At the lookup of 12 September 2026 the entry listed a single domain, vavegame.com. The casino and its terms are served on vave.com, which was not on the certificate, so the fifth point stays empty.

Metaspins points to two authorities. Clause 1.1 of its terms names Anjouan and ALSI-202606048-FI2. The register in Curaçao, searched on 12 September 2026, has an active entry for metaspins.com: number OGL/2024/1063/0437, holder Metaspins N.V. The ranking withholds the point because the licence the contract names and the licence the register shows are not the same one.

Why the fifth point is a narrow test

The criterion is deliberately literal. It asks one thing: does the authority's own record list this licence for this casino's domain? It does not ask whether the operator looks established, whether its brand is well known, or whether a different domain of the same group is covered.

A narrow test has a cost. Vave loses the point over a domain string while holding an active certificate, and Wild.io keeps it despite two company names. The benefit is that anyone can repeat the test and reach the same answer, which is the whole idea behind the kinds of evidence this site accepts.

Numbers the register does not back

Rocketpot prints 1668/JAZ in its footer and calls it a crypto casino licence. Clause 1.2 of the terms gives the same string as a registration number of Danneskjold Ventures B.V. When cert.cga.cw was searched on 12 and 13 September 2026, it returned that certificate as not valid. Three places, three descriptions of one number; the card above shows the footer and the register result together.

Rainbet shows a «Licensed» badge in the footer with no number on it. Under clause 21.6, a complaint goes to Gaming Services Provider N.V., which the clause describes as the licensing body. Without a number there is nothing to type into a register search, so the licence cell on the board reads «No licence number printed».

Wolfbet prints ALSI-132405048-FI3 in clause 1 §1 of its terms and repeats it in the footer. The two pages agree with each other. The ranking still leaves the fifth point empty, because the records on file hold no register entry that lists the licence for the casino's own domain.

TrustDice has no licence reading on file at all; the only record kept for it is the real-money test of May 2026. Its licence cell shows «—», which means exactly that and nothing more.

How to run a crypto casino licence check yourself

The steps take a few minutes and need no account. Do them before the first deposit, and again before a large withdrawal if months have passed.

1. Copy the number and the company name from the footer and from the opening clause of the terms. Note whether the two agree.
2. Open the authority's register yourself by typing its address, rather than following a badge link on the casino page.
3. Search by domain, not by brand. Use the exact address you play on, since a certificate can list a sister domain and leave yours out.
4. Compare the holder. The company on the register should match the company in the terms. If it does not, write both down.
5. Read status and dates. Active, not valid, issue date, end date where one is shown.
6. Save the result with a date. A screenshot of the entry gives you a record if the entry later changes.
